The Dynamic Business Awards is run by The Platinum Media Group. This is the leading voice of business in the South East, specialising in magazine publishing and event management.
The company was formed over ten years ago to serve the business community of the South East. The region is the economic powerhouse of the UK but was very poorly served by any publication that connected businesses and kept them abreast of all the news, views and opinion.
The Platinum Media Group publishes the largest circulation business magazines in the UK including Platinum Business Magazine, Surrey Business Magazine and Dynamic Magazine, reaching over 720,000 readers each month. Platinum also own and produces the largest business award events in the region including the Sussex Business Awards, the Surrey Business Awards and the Brighton & Hove Business Awards.
We attended the 2022 Dynamic Business Awards last night to celebrate the remarkable achievements of businesswomen across a wide range of sectors in Sussex.
Tiny Box Company and Rachel were both nominated for awards: Company of the year and Businesswoman of the year.…..Drumroll please, Rachel won Businesswoman of the year award and as a company we are so proud of our MD, woo!
A special mention to our colleague Danielle for coming as Highly Recommended for the Young Professional of the Year award for our new business venture Chief and Turtle.
Looking over the past Sussex, Surrey and Brighton Award winners, it is surprising that only 26% of awards were won by women. This could be due to women failing to win or the lack of women entering awards. The Dynamic Awards are designed to change that as they are exclusively for women, although the audience is mixed. The inaugural event is made up of fourteen categories and recognises achievements made across all aspects of life, from personal successes to outstanding contributions.
